Smoke outlet above or at the back (1). Please note that the outlet at the back is not compatible with the turning plate.
The walls of the combustion chamber are protected against thermal shock by insulating materials (2).
The air for post-combustion sweeps the glass door (3) keeping it clean.
A diverter (4) slows down the smoke that tends to escape up the chimney.

Option
To make the most of your centrepiece, the Stûv 30 can be placed on a concealed turning plate, which allows the stove to be positioned to face the living room as well as the dining room, for example.
