Stûv 30

Stûv 30

Timeless and revolutionary at the same time.

The Stûv 30 is the very first wood-burning stove to offer three modes of use.
Although now in its third generation, it is still revolutionary with its 3-in-1 system: open fire, glass door, or solid door. To change the mode of use you just need to pivot the drum of your Stûv 30 to the desired position.
Enjoy!

Explore the three modes of operation

3-door system

Changing mode only takes a few seconds: all you have to do is pivot the drum of your Stûv 30 until the door you want is in front of the stove opening.

  • The glass door gives a magnificent view of the flames, guaranteeing safety, eco-friendliness and savings, thanks to its excellent output.
  • The solid door slows down the fire and optimises performance.
  • Open fire mode means that you can make the most of the crackling flames, the smell of the wood... and even have a barbeque!

Solid door

The solid door has insulation to cut off radiated heat.

The glass is protected and does not get dirty.

The solid door hides the inside of the stove when it is not in use.

Open fire

The Stûv 30 can also be used as an open fire.

Use this position to add more wood or to enjoy the radiated heat.

Open fire

Powerful and efficient

The third-generation Stûv 30 ensures highly efficient combustion. The glass stays clean for longer and the output can easily be adjusted between 6 and 12 kW.

Connection to external air

The Stûv 30 can be connected to the outside air, either from beneath or behind.
This increases the total output of the installation, without interfering with the mechanical ventilation.

Combustion technique

Combustion technique

  1. Combustion air.
Illustration with direct air intake under the stove. The external air intake can also be located at the rear of the device.
  2. Combustion.
The air intake, the combustion chamber and smoke evacuation form an air-tight system.
  3. The air is captured in the living room and is heated by the device.
  4. The convection air circulates throughout the combustion chamber and captures heat from the smoke.
  5. The heated air comes out of the device naturally and spreads within the room.
  6. The smoke is evacuated into the flue. Illustration with top outlet, also exists with rear outlet.
  7. Purge air chases the smoke from the window. This way, you can continuously benefit from watching the flames.

Ash container

The Stûv 30 has a built-in ash container.

Contrary to traditional wisdom, frequent ash removal is not necessary. You should leave a bed of ash in the combustion chamber to insulate the chamber and base plate from the heat of combustion.
